Justification of criminal acts of war common practise in the era of Jihad

If I was a Jehova's witness I would say that with this last developments of aggression based on delusion and lies and illegal and unlawful intervention this world is coming to its end. Finally the dreaded F22 Raptors (even by pilots refusing to fly them) being the secret weapon of the empire not exported to any country are being used in aggression (combat by the finest military servicemen of the world according to Obama in his latest speech). Well congratulations to this fine piece of flying evil costing about 400 million USD a piece not considered the cost of the bombs you are dropping killing innocent people. Just imagine what the money of a few raptors would do to lessen suffering for people of this world. As long as you let your mind inflicted by fear govern you and your nation you'll always end up making the situation worse for yourself and for all of us, imprisoned on this planet. Surrender to make yourself free, to know the "being", your true peaceful self. And this is for Mr Obama too, free yourself of the demands of you, from your administration, from your agencies and make your dream come true the realization of the promises you made in your election campaign that made you win the Nobel peace prize. Don't be a coward, don't back off, stick to what you said, being mainstream will just bring you down to another mediocre one of the history. Killing Usama bin Laden will not do it in the books for you it'll just bring resentment towards you, all over the the planet.

Every day I see new means and methods to justify going to war, like intervening and invading "rouge states", extraordinary rendition invented by the Bush regime to pick up supposed to be terrorists on sovereign states territories, calling any militant movements terrorists, no matter of what sort as long as they are against the incumbent US friendly regimes. Sweden has been a US ally since after the World War II, helping in spying on the east block even though under the flag of a neutral state but hiding it well from the world under in particular the Social Democrat regimes of Sweden. Our secret relations with US government cracked wide open when one of those grey aircrafts without the common designation letters on the body descended on Swedish soil in 2002 to pick some alleged financiers of al Qaeda, approved by the Swedish government and signed off by secretary of state Anna Lind. They were taken to one of the US "rendition" places in Egypt to be tortured by contractors keeping blood away from the hands of US government.

This one is about how willing the Swedish society is to justify aggression by our ally the US, by any means and in this case the air attacks by the US and it's brothers in arms on IS (not Obamas ISIL with is a demeaning rewriting of the organization’s name that in reality extends far beyond the Levant) on Syrian soil. This by Swedish media very much used Ove Bring, "Professor Emeritus" in International law is claiming that the US and its partners are in full rights to intervene in and over a sovereign state, in this case Syria. And the explanation is that according to some fuzzy UN toothless laws, intervention by an "lawful" external agent may be done when the government of that sovereign state is incapable of protecting it's own people. Now pay special attention to the word "lawful" in the previous sentence. See, the US comes in from a standpoint of being a legal, lawful governing body of Iraq protecting the interests of Iraq while being an unlawful aggressor intervening in Iraq and taking unlawful control of it based on the lies to protect the world from Saddam Hussein's Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD). We all know that there were none and also know that UN controlling the borders of Iraq prior to the intervention was forced to leave it's positions weeks before any UN decision was made on the issue when US troops came in and opened up "holes" in the border preparing for a non UN sanctioned attack. The UN is toothless manipulated clown that no living being on earth should hold trust in and makes more harm to the planet than if it would not exist at all, only smoke screens of hope for this world. And it cost too much money, money that could be used to cure Ebola patients in Africa and feed the starving.

When this "Professor Emeritus" Ove Bring of International law once again utters his "expert" opinion in favor of stupidity it just shows how incompetent Swedish media has become. There are no experienced reporters any more as they are to expensive to keep going. The trend is to go out and "buy" an "expert" willing to write something to lower cost than what it would take to keep an experienced professional reporter going for years on a payroll.

If you did not understand what I was saying, I'll rephrase it to just say that the attacks within Syria today are illegal, unlawful, stupid and inhuman. And apart from that we are spilling bombs over innocent people creating even more suffering than what IS would ever do.

Take that, Carl Bildt (Secretary of State) and Fredrik Reinfeldt (Prime minister) in your last days of governing Sweden. Your ideology has been making money, having a good life for yourself and being seen by others.

I hope some people in Russia will read this and figure out that even if you are communists you are not alone in this screwed up world of politics and madness. You Russians should not feel at ease with this, you have a process of dealing with your guilt ahead of you. You killed my grandfather, my uncle and many more in my family that I never got to see or know and it still hurts many years after I got aware of what you did to my future.

Could awarness of the now make humans content and end all aggressions on the planet?

Do you believe that your mind is you like in the famous statement: I think therefore I am (Descartes)? Or is this just an unconscious state of being, a zombie state that most humans on planet earth live? What if there was another dimension of us that did not live in the past (the already passed dead) or the future (nonexistent, did not happen yet)? A dimension of us, always aware of the instant of now – sometimes called the “observer” for which the past and the present mean nothing. Most of us lives our life’s in pain inflicted by “bad” memories of passed times or on hopes to reach the end of the rainbow completely blind for the moment in which we are. What is this my enigmatic fuzz about? I have been practicing Zen for many years, now having a break as many do, when life and mind takes control. Recently I stumbled over a book, one of those best sellers: “the power of now” by Eckhart Tolle, a non-religious “tale” about awareness of that precious moment that we all live but are ignorant of or blind to. I found no contradiction to my own wisdom of Zen but a slightly different way of looking at the issue of the interior of one self, of one-ness, a great complementing teaching about how to come to peace with myself.

Now it is time for a small tale: The insightful being and “scientist” Carl Jung tells in of his books of a conversation he had with a native American chief who pointed out to him that in his perspective most white people have tense faces, staring eyes and cruel demeanor. He said: “They are always seeking something. What are they seeking? The whites always want something. They are always uneasy and restless. We don’t know what they want. We think they are mad.”

I think this still holds for a pretty good description of us people in western style regions. We are always looking for greener grass or filled up with anxiety or fear even though we know that our time is limited here.

Could we be content without a continous wanting of new possessions, without being held back and crippled by attachments, without always thinking about coming to and end?

The Swedish Election, what happened, do we have an immigration issue?

Passed another election in Sweden. The incumbent coalition controlled by the conservatives fell off the throne. Why did this happened despite being such a "responsible" government hailed by the rest of the countries in European union for it's perfomance through years of economical upheaval in the world around this tiny insignificant nation. The answer to the question why this government failed to maintain position governing Sweden for another four year is this: just a few month before the election, the prime minister Fredrik Reinfeldt went out proclaiming the government would support an accelerated immigration to Sweden, expressing his concerns about the necessity to accomodate refugees from the planet's hot spots and how beneficial it will be to Sweden to become a true multicultural society. This went on and on drawing closer to the election day something we here had never seen from party leader ever and considering this small nation that already had taken a big load of immigrants from all the corners of the world even bleeding from immigrant gang wars over drug territory with more deaths and executions that we have ever seen through the history of the nation. As a result of this one in every four for the previous mandate period that voted for the conservatives went to a party that most Swedes (87%) considers neo nazis in this election and that gained 13% of all votes making the third largest party in Sweden.

We Swedes don't want more immigrants at least not an accelerated influx for now. We are not prepared to accommodate more. We are unable to cope with or accomodate the Romes coming from other parts of the union that creates their living in parks within the cities of major Swedish cities, I can say a lot about that as I am having colony of romes 200 meters from my house that is at 10 minutes distance from the Stockholm city center. Nobody wants more immigrants but no one can say this in public without being called and labeled racist. We can say it by voting only as our vote remains the sole thing in the Swedish society that is private and close to holy.

Well, back to the conservative party and its leaders, Fredrik Reinfeldt and Anders Borg. Why did they manage to keep good old Sweden afloat. I would say that any government would have had as this country still is living on the surplus of the eras of the great world wars and the years following the great wars of the world. We could deliver products during the wars, iron ore for the Germans before and during world war one and two and after rebuilding Europe with a development and manufacturing machine intact unaffected by the wars. Lately the funds to keep Sweden afloat has come from selling off government industries created in those days of wars, not only within the weapons section but all kinds that we had in abundance over here created mainly by Sweden's Socialistic heritage.

We have had a government in Sweden that has done nothing else then selling off public business, cutting taxes, keeping people out of unemployment benefits, keeping disabled people out of social wellfare and importing cheap labor from around the poor states of Europe, working for nothing.

No grace to Fredrik Reinfeldt, Anders Borg and their over-aged clown, USA leachead foreign minister Carl Bildt. The last thing heard from the "duo" is that they now would get more time for hunting (hunting (killing) animals (for pleasure)).

Would a normal human like having leaders like that running a nation?

And  imagine a nation having a government coming out from the closet a few months before the election claiming their love to a multi cultural society? Well, as I said, this is what made the incumbent government fall.

The outlook for Sweden and it's possibly socialistic government seem bleek, just think about a prime minister that for the first time in Swedish history does not speak English! May God have mercy with us...

Who decides, the US president or the agencies of the nation?

You see more of military expressions of intent from government officials on the military side and Pentagon like Dempsey, Hagel, Hayden and Kirby than from the president himself, where is Obama and what does he want? The agency guys seem free to talk and use big words that normally should be the words of the nation’s leader when addressing another sovereign state and its leader, in this case Bashar al Assad with hostile messages. Pentagon and the agencies talks about addressing IS on Syrian soil, firstly by spy planes and later ground attacks saying no need for Syrian consent. But there's a but, someone (Peter Bergen) says : "If you intervene, you may be helping Iran and Hezbollah and (al-Assad's) regime" while another one (Jim Acosta) said. "This is the very definition of choosing between the lesser of two evils", in the latter case referring to al Assad's regime as evil and the question is: who is more evil of the two, Bashar al Assad or IS? To me this is the very definition of not admitting the grave error made to go against the sitting Syrian regime and support the insurgence thus giving then ISIS the possibility to grow strong. First we had the standard excuse for intervening, the WMD one and in this case 30 tons of chemical warfare to be destroyed on a diplomatic suggestion from Russia, just think about how ridiculous, when I jog 10 kilometers I will lift/move my own body more than 16000 times; with my weight that is 90 kilos it will make a weight of 1,440,000 kilos that is 1440 tons. So irrespective of how poisonous this stuff is, it is still a laughing matter and a very bad tasting excuse (after Iraq). And the propaganda against Bashar al Assad continues, no one is going to admit: we were wrong.

I think that die-hard stance will lead the region and the world into more misery and suffering. The US should step down and negotiate how to go about IS on Syrian territory with the sitting Syrian regime. If that is impossible, it is only a matter of time before Russia will step out of the dark.

Is a new Iraq looming? Is the great idea this time to use IS for an excuse to intervene ousting another cruel "dictator", Bashar al Assad. It look more ore less as the previous intervention, UN (read the world) back from vacations (when the region is burning hot) to have a crisis meeting on Syria/IS to function in the role of chaperone condoning an intervention just as before. Then we have the staunch US allies, France with it's dubious president Hollande as another Tony Blair and the ever ally, Australia. I don't think I am that far of from any NGO "tinkering" tank, without a tab from an upscale restaurant to pick up and with no "With eyes wide shut" diversion after the meeting either.

Taking out ISIS/IS and getting help from one embarassing and unwanted ally

In a previous blog post I hinted of how the US helped Syrian insurgence with money and armament to oust the regime of Bashar al Assad, primarily to give Russian president Vladimir Putin and his Russia a beating, ridding the Mediteranean from Russia's military presence. What the world got in return from such a both tactically and strategically (long term) blunder was ISIS now IS. Not the first time it happens with the US manipulating the mind of a world of lesser knowing states for it's own geopolitical hunger to control territories and it's resources while telling the rest of the western world that it is in our best interest. The most fatal and lethal blunders most people have in mind is the intervention in Iraq, then Afghanistan as they are recent and ongoing but there are so many more over the past 40 years, all of them today deemed a fail with disastrous outcome, massive loss of life and dire suffering with right-wing dictators at the helm during long periods of time as result of the "tinkering".

What I would like to say today is that what I have foreseen is happening, that is Syria and the regime of Bashar al Assad has suddenly become an ally by now turning focus towards the ISIS/IS, starting to attack and bomb the strongholds of this radical moslem movement. Read the US press today to see for yourself as I am assuming that yesterday you still felt, you still thought that the regime of Bashar al Assad was a foul regime that had to be ousted. Please do not take the eyes off countries like Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Yemen, Bahrein where we have seen Facebook/Twitter spring movements but where the situation later and in some cases after international intervention to oust a leader the situation has turned against every "good" intention. Don't see ISIS/IS as the problem and the US as the solution, you have to see US tinkering as the part of a greater problem.

A mainstream US president and the IS problem

Is the executions and decapitations by IS more horrendous than what the US government has been involved in since 9/11 more recently with their "precision" and "surgical" drone strikes in Afghanistan, Ethiopia and Yemen killing innocents, women and children? IS is probably an army of young angry men seeing their nations and families violated, raped and brutally killed by an oil and power hungry nation in the west. Obama said "People like this ultimately fail" because the future is won by those who build and not destroy" referring to the IS beheading of the US journalist Foley today - 08/20/14 a phrase that sound so hypocritical, hollow and false with hindsight way back to Vietnam, a phrase from a mainstream US president of a nation that never lived up to promises he made in the elections that rendered him the Noble peace prize before doing anything. A president that did not replace the "heads" of the agencies (read CIA, NSA etc.) to enforce his own promised policies to steer the US away from the course the George W Bush and his father had laid. US is today a country controlled by the legacy of its agencies, not by the will of its own people and it's president elect. It is a very dangerous path spiraling downwards towards the gates of hell that the late Saddam Hussein predicted to open if US would attack Iraq.

Now, a nation and a president that wants to make Russia - an ally of Syria to fail and fall like earlier in Afghanistan supporting the Muhajeddin and Osama bin Laden by supporting the so called "opposition", financing the opposition groups (read ISIS-IS) with money and weapons against what Syrian exiles claims is a good man and a guarantee for stability in Syria and its proximity, that is the Syrian president Bashar al Assad. Now with this fresh in memory watching the consequences of  manipulating the situation against Russia in Syria and watching Obama and his government (the agencies) trying to come out a as the savior of the world with missile strikes against the IS and it's rescue operations, doesn't it give you a taste of shit in the mouth? I see disaster as looming and I do not think that IS is bound to be stopped, too many angry young men and women in this world to achieve such a goal.

Of course the same is happening in Ukraine, the same painting black of Russia and it's president Putin. When there are diplomatic back-doors where most issue could be resolved in contrary to creating chaos out of political ambition.

President Obama is man with an immaculate white shirt, a silk tie, shiny polished booths, a smiley face and a mouth loaded with political rhetoric’s but behind this facade there is a scared little boy that had no idea what his tenure would become. He has done nothing to change this world towards the better. Just look at the political "crown jewel", the Palestine. Nothing. Instead throwing the whole world into turmoil, letting the agencies rule, letting companies like General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and others rule, the war mongers of the nation.

I fear that this lowly writing will cause me problems at my next re-entry of the borders of the United States of America but I hope that you all, border people take it in, all with a good laugh from all the irony in the present situation presented here and let me pass on to my final destination, which will not be the territories of the United States. I will only pass through for the convenience of travel. But what the hell, I am only honest, not hostile at all.

State of complacency - Swedish election campaign 2014

Do they have the same tailor?
The Swedish elections for the parliament, government and municipalities are only 4 months away but the whole situation feels more like 4 years away. Not much of advertisements and publicity is seen or heard, speaking about Stockholm, the capital and for the rest of the country on radio and television. The spring proposals from the bigger parties whether they are to the right, the left or in the middle contains nothing but the usual, nothing implying that there is a coming fight about who's to govern this northern and cold country the next period. The press and media have observed the situation and started describing the "campaigning" as utterly bleak but doesn't seem very interested in doing a story about it, self coming out utterly meager and bleak. Two party leaders from Sweden's 2 major parties are seen in a press-photo taken after a debate. Both have lilac mono-colored ties over there shirts. Earlier the right-winger would sport the traditional blue color and the socialist the traditional red, now they are advised not show who they are!  Why have we become like this? Are there no issues left to burn for? Or is it for some reason completely impossible or suicidal to the stick out the snout concerning the poor becoming poorer, injustice, overfilled prisons, social welfare being taken down, the unemployment situation not changing, the young without a job and a place to live and so much more in our society that is in a state of putrefaction. Most old people does not have a possibility to get a place at an elderly living unless they are close to paralyzed or suffering from dementia becoming a living danger in society and if they for those reasons would succeed to get a bed in one of those they will be drugged down so they can be managed easy by a minimal staff and kept to a minimal cost. The Swedish defense has been cut down to the bare bones and is today tailored for foreign duty in some country invaded by the USA but not for defending Sweden anymore. It must be a laughing matter for leaders like Vladimir Putin when political voices in Sweden are raised for another build-up of the armed forces that could reach deterring strength somewhere 2024. Sweden stands with the pants deep down at the ankles and it will take 10 years to get them back up again. Ah, there are so many issues, big issues and nothing is really said and fought for.

What is wrong? Perhaps nothing? We may have been living in an ideal situation far from regions of unrest having a complacent life, a rich life with fairly low taxes, flooded with material products from the rest of the world (as almost nothing is produced here these days), a good supply of foods, even exotic foods, flourishing restaurant business, fine wines, fine champagnes, fine whiskies, fine cigars, coffees, tees and even good supply of drugs on the streets, in particular cocaine. The most popular television programs are the chef cook-out competitions, vagabond chefs, chefs going to planet Mars, talking about the good life you name it. I went to a big home supply depot the other day and the first thing I saw after having parked my car was a younger family loading up their car with a new grill and grill supplies like ten sacks of char coal, lighter liquid and other stuff needed. Barbecuing is everybody's weekend past-time these days and the whole neighborhood is under clouds of meat-smelling smoke from lit-up grills. The supermarkets have introduced well hung designer beef from select beef-cattle in boxes with special design and with a see-through window to cater for those special moments in the garden. This transformation of the Swedish society has gone very fast and we now have most of what the US American got already in the seventies, even obesity.

At the same time old Swedish values are quickly eroding away, especially solidarity. Unemployment support is constantly being cut, sick and disabled people are refused support and forced out to labor, scavengers looking for bottles in trash bins are constantly seen around metro-, train- and bus-stations, hordes of beggars everywhere and the out-casts without a place to live sleeping on park-benches or on the pavement. And Sweden is becoming down-right dirty with trash everywhere, empty soda containers and fast-food packages everywhere.

There is so much more that is wrong here and the last thing I will mention is that education in schools has fallen below standards in the the countries around us. I have been travelling the world, working in many countries abroad for longer periods and wherever I came I got acknowledged for having both broad and deep knowledge professionally as well as concerning my social knowledge about the world. Things I learned in Swedish schools and universities, I did not go to prestigious private schools, I was just a normal kid being educated together with other normal kids by the Swedish school system, coming out well educated and more knowing than any single North American colleague I ever had.

I will follow the election campaign with one corner of my eyes and irrespective of who will win I don't look forward with enthusiasm to the times coming after it.
