The middle east refugee disaster

Drowned Syrian Toddler
There are millions of refugees all around the eastern and southern borders of the Mediterranean sea, 1,5 million in camps or on the street in Lebanon. Some are in camps, some families are living and sleeping on the street. Most of the children that fled with their parents or relatives cannot go to school as there are no spaces for them, thus held in limbo with respect to their future. We cannot ask a 4 million nation like Lebanon to provide everything for all flooding over their borders.

We can finance decent living and schools for refugees in Lebanon, Turkey, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia and Morocco if politically feasible just to buy time to provide for these people migrating further into Europe, to suspend disasters like people dying on the streets of the middle east or trying to cross the Mediterranean in vessels not sea worthy. We can provide doctors, nurses and teachers, sent to the countries bordering the war zones in the middle east, we can even provide homes and buildings as this situation will persist for a long time - many believes that tomorrow will be different with peace restored, it will not. Europe needs time to provide for living space and work opportunities for all these millions uprooted by wars, we are not prepared, not ready and just letting them in will only create more unrest.

Why not give up on political objectives such as improving schools nationally, such as pumping in money to raise production, improving business climate, create the lowest unemployment in Europe etc. but instead put our national interests on hold and use the resources to improve and stabilize the situation in the countries around the war zones. This for all countries, especially in the core EU states.

The Swedish socialistic government and in particular its foreign minister Margot Wallström is continuing on the old track of opening up for more immigrants, providing jobs and education for more immigrants an impossible task and contrary to what the Swedish people thinks and wants. Thinking outside of the box would be to suspend national growth and use the resources created from raised taxes to provide for immigrants at where they are right now, in war zones bordering countries like Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia and Morocco, this of course in consent with the governments in those countries.

Then coming to the question of liability; who did this to us? Not a word from the USA and its figurehead Barack Obama. Not a word of economic support considering  the actions that lead up to the situation we are living in this part of the world. Interventions like "hit and run" in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya, then dysfunctional diplomacy with respect to Syria and the regime of Bashar al Assad eventually destabilizing the entire region. The Lebanese people are highly critical to the EU and USA with respect to coming to terms with Syria through diplomacy. Thanks to the "failing" US diplomacy, we now have ISIS and another dozen terrorist factions fighting for control.

Well, I think we can do without economic help from the USA, we just have to suspend national growth and use that money to help the people/refugees where the majority is situated for the moment. If this requires military intervention in Libya, so be it. EU needs resolve of this order, we cannot rely on the USA any more.

the USA to pay for immigrant disaster in Europe

Disrespect of a fallen soldier
Hordes of refugees pouring in over the seas and over the borders to Europe. This is no cherry picking of the cream of the crop of humans in the middle or the far east, this is millons of people fleeing the terrors in Afghanistan, Iraq and basically all of the region called the "Levant". The situation has gotten out of hand of the EU administration and every particular country of the Union and is being destabilized by it. Before this the EU was hit by the financial disasters created by US banks, insurance companies and credit institutes in 2008. The US treasury service saved the situation nationally but left Europe struggling with the after-math caused by the failing US economy. US media is criticizing Europe for letting people die on the Mediterranean sea, for not providing for the ones managing to cross into its borders. But what is the cause of all this? It all started with the US manipulating the situation in Afghanistan during the Russian intervention and when the Russians were gone abandoning the whole thing and having the entire region fall into clan wars finally resolved with the Taliban's taking it all over and al Qaeda moving in.

Then Saddam Hussein insulted the great nation in the west having the George Bush administration assaulting Iraq in the first Persian gulf war but without finishing the task, bailing out with Saddam Hussein still in power. Then came the NY World Trade Center twin tower disaster orchestrated by, who knows, at September 9 2001 followed by the US intervening in Afghanistan, October 7 2001, intimated by, who knows, figure head president George W Bush, but as I said, figure-head, more by the war toting agencies of the nation as by its puppet spokes-person. Talking about great leaders and in this case great American presidents, there are non, not one single. A US president is nothing but a spokes-person for its agencies and prominent forces of its administration. A US president can be anything from an actor, a Hollywood action hero or a real estate mogul like Donald Trump. He needs to be well polished, dressing up well in a nice suit, nice tie and well polished shoes and an convincing attitude to inflict fear in the leaders of the ROW, that is it. But at the end he is nothing more than whoever you would meet on a US street and if he would venture outside of the limits of the nations agencies he would end up dead as John F Kennedy.

The story continues with the Iraq intervention, initiated March 19 2003, dubbed "Operation Iraqi Freedom". This in recent memory of most educated people of the world was a complete fail, with secterist violence, insurgence and eventually with the birth of the ultra-Islamist movement ISIS. There is one thing I will never belittle or forget and that is when Saddam Hussein said, attacking Iraq will open the gates of hell, because it did. It is perhaps not that obvious to citizens of the US where there is a big and wide ocean separating them from Iraq, Mid East and North Africa, but to Europeans it is as refugees in millions are pouring in over the borders creating havoc, mistrust among citizens and new-comers ultimately sparking radical Muslim movements romancing the ISIS, the Caliphate.

Came the Arabic spring with Tunisia, Libya, Egypt. Somebody in a western state decided to bomb out Ghadaffi assembling the NATO letting havoc on the loose in Libya, then abandoning the whole thing, a hit and run. The US social media let the "Spring" roll on to Egypt, resulting in the Muslim Brotherhood winning the coming up election having "someone" staging another military coupe safeguarding all those endangered "western" military bases in Egypt. Subsequently we see the same story continue in Qatar, then in Yemen, here Saudi Arabia barges in, in cahoots with its ally doing the dirty work to bring order back.

Meanwhile figure-head Barack Obama is filibustering the Syrian situation. Instead of pressuring Bashar al Assad to democratic elections and the negotiating table, a half-ass Hollywood style Syrian regime smearing campaign is initiated letting insurgence get out of hand completely destabilizing the situation in Syria whereof ISIS rises like the bird of Phoenix.

Is the US seeing the European union getting to strong? Was the idea of the US "tinkering tanks" to let go of a problem just to have Europe being weakened by it? Whatsoever, the disastrous situation the Europeans are living, caring for myriads of immigrants, consequential illegal trafficking and a Islamic radicalization getting worse for every day is caused by the US, with or without intentions, perhaps out of stupidity or radical Christian thinking. Now considering that US law and courts seem to rule outside its borders, it seem natural that European law may extend over and into the contiguous US and its territories. It sounds reasonable that the US is liable to pay for damages made to the countries of the the middle and far east and to what consequently is damaging Europe. If an international war criminal court of law would be impossible or ineffective against the US a massive civil class-action suit could do it.

Did it ever occur to you that the world would have been a much stabler and safer place without past US aggression's and interventions? My belief has always been that change has to come from inside whatever suffering nationals of a country have to endure. I do not believe in quick fixes, in armed solutions and in extra-national manipulation of politics in other states, communistic or dictatorships like historically the US has been engaged in for decades, at the end failing in all counts.

The US is by it's failing tactics and strategy converting my peaceful nation into an Islamic Caliphate. I refuse to accept something like that forced upon me.

The US should take full responsibility for its deeds in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Tunisia, Libya and Yemen admitting anybody fleeing from the war zones asylum.

Let us sue them power hungry geopolitical greedy bastards.

Sustainable planet, sustainable humanity, don't think so.

So much delusion without end in this world that it at times feels difficult to continue living. When people don't care about or don't know what they do or are consuming I believe that there is nothing more appropriate than that disasters come down on us.

Latest news from my fine country of Sweden. Sweden once a modest country coming to anything, to consuming to spending to laurels from schools and to pretending, has gone from modesty to flamboyance, driving city monsters like the Hummer, Porches, Ferrari's, fine dining, fine drinking, fine vacations at exclusive resorts around the world. Talking about delicatessen that once was for the knowing and the rich only, like fine cheeses from Italy and France, Salamis mainly from Italy, the best coffees of the world, really any pick from the dinner tables of the wealthiest of the world, seem to be what is talked about any day of the week and most important in life to the Swede in general.

Meanwhile "small" scandals are popping up and disappearing as quickly as they were presented, almost every day. When the fumes has scattered, it will be forgotten as if it was dealt with, but not. Every scandal comes bordered with a sunny promise and forecast for the future like some unknown entrepreneur, wonder-child that came up with a patented process, how to make food out of feces. Just shove the dirt and dust under the carpet to continue like nothing happened.

Take this latest concerning the goat cheese known as chevre. With all the fancy cravings came the craving for chevre to Sweden, so much that in later years national production was taken up, but as every non-ignorant person knows, milk does not come without a mammal giving birth, like in this case the goat. Without any culture of eating goat meat in Sweden came the question, what to do with the goat's off-spring? The answers was, exterminate them and send the bodies for incineration, which the producers did. Goat meat is delicious and eaten in many countries of the world but never to be found in a supermarket or at the butcher here in Sweden. I can accept the guilt and eat the meat of an animal if it was treated with dignity and as a sacrifice for my good but inhumane treatment of any living being on the planet I detest.

Second scandal this very same day is concerning human waste - garbage - that today has become a commodity traded between countries. Sweden with it's numerous thermo-electric  plants has since far back started to accept/receive garbage from other nations of the world, for payment of course, a lucrative business. Now this story about about the ashes dumped from one of those plants at a local community dump where environmental inspectors found out the streams and ground water around the dump are polluted way above existent permitted levels for toxicity. How could anything like that happen in Sweden, a country at the forefront early and for years at the forefront when it comes to caring for the environment?

The answer to the "why did we do it" as far as the scandals above mentioned, is, the material world, the money comes before any other concern. The Swede does not act like a Swede anymore, more like our less scrupulous friend North America. There is one important difference though, if something goes wrong in North America there will be a public law-suit costing the offender the shirt, if anything goes wrong in Sweden it will either be "talked" down or come down as a cost on the public, that is taxes.¨

My guess for the next major scandal here in Sweden will be taking the nuclear power plants out of service. Some of the plants once owned and run by the state were sold to private energy companies now endangering their financial health. No one up to today has come out with an estimate of what the closing of a nuclear power-plant will cost to decommission. These companies know that the cost is way above means of survival and talks have started to return the issue to the state, to the nation, that is, taxes.

There are so many other bothering and disturbing things in this world that I almost every day ask myself, why bother. I feel that whatever I write or whatever I would do in helping this world to a sound "modus operandi", it would be pointless.

I like and endorse Kosher and Halal, because before slaughtering the animal, forgiveness is asked for. A thought is given to a dear friend before committing the sacrifice, something that we in the west have forgotten in favor of mass-production, time and money.

Then to the quote of the day: Asking this friend about if he ate pork he answered: I don't eat pork but I love bacon...:)

We could change all this by abandon taboos when teaching or kids in school and by being open to our kids at home, not giving them the "baby-treatment" or seeing them as our keep-sake's. Children are our obligation, we don't own them, they are individuals with all the rights to know.

Let us fight ignorance, because it is the highway to hell. It will invade our since long non-ignorant cultures because of our own lust to increase our own power (European Union).

A simple and unambigous definition of "Ecological" for the world

There’s so much delusion concerning the concept, ”ECO” even though a definition may go like ”not harming environment” a product marked “ECO” may have circled the planet several times to reach a consumer. At the bottom line we don’t have clue and it has become a slogan to sell more which is what drives us, sell and consume. Large corporations, multinational corporations have bought in to the concept but with the sole purpose not to lose markets and consumers and to increase sales in an ECO aware world of consumers. I would like to change the whole idea of “ECO” to something simple and efficient, “near produced” whatever that is feasible to “near produce” and only let imports be legitimate when they only could be found elsewhere.

There is nothing wrong with the definition “not harming environment” but we have to be smart still using what we learnt about fertilizers, pest control and DNA modified crops and keeping the business around chemicals and farming under close watch. The big gain from making “ECO” meaning “near produced” more than anything else would be to remove a great amount of trailers from the roads, boats from the seas and airplanes out of the air, reducing CO2 contamination from burning fossil fuels, road wear, road accidents and a contaminated ocean from huge transporters spilling it’s waste into the air and mother sea.

Globalization has become a threat to the environment as it has opened up remote markets to biblical scale producers from countries like the USA, Argentina and China and others, that are extremely competitive just because of the scale of production and without no or little ethics when it comes to keeping animals or producing meat. It is difficult to grasp why meat should have to crisscross the globe to reach a market, meat like poultry, or milk products that can be produced locally anywhere. Reflect over that a US milk producer could keep 10,000 cows that never are allowed to go out; the largest Swedish one could have 1000 which is very rare as the majority would have no more than 100. A situation like this pollutes the globe with CO2 and other unwanted substances, forces small producers out of business creating dependencies and eventually political instability on the planet.

National politicians in large influential countries lobbied by local industry, works hard to force other nations to open their markets to all sorts of produce even to such absurd export products like poultry. You can just imagine that the gain is one-way and to whole thing setup to support the own industry and to keep its population happy. The end result for all of us is global warming with severe effects even for the “rogue” CO2 nations and their greedy and reckless politicians.
The oil price drops (2014-2015) and the most popular car sold in the foremost nation on earth is a large gas-hungry SUV while on the other side of the ocean car manufacturers are breaking their budgets to develop and produce small cars with engines running on minuscule amounts of fossil fuel or non-fossil means. Does this have anything to do with “near produced”, no, I just mention to introduce you to the hypocrisy in what certain nations say and do. The same hypocrisy applies to the concept “ECO”.

“ECO” in the meaning of  “near produced” could be the difference between maintaining earth’s temperature at current level or continue towards a catastrophic 2 degree raise. And it is guareantee that diversity on our fragile planet is maintained.

Another effect of “near produced” would mean that nations/regions would be able to uphold production of grain, vegetables, meat and milk to be more or less self-sufficient and also important - for strategic reasons, when war or other disasters strike. Sweden’s milk- and meat-producing farmers are on the brink of extinction because of global trade and the country have ended up in an absurd situation investing in the under-dimensioned armed forces to be able to curb an attack from the “east” while not taking any measures to safe-guard local food production. I wonder what the population and its military forces will eat during a longer period of war when most food-stuff is imported.

We are living in crazy world driven by greed and fear, constant drafting on new trade agreements mostly with the US pushing for it as the US has gone the farthest with very large scale farming and production that would outcompete the industries overseas making an imbalance in trade to the favor of the US. At the same time as transcontinental transport increases, climate conference after conference is not bringing us closer to a solution.

The ideal would be having a world order where only digital products are allowed for import/export, everything else “near produced” with the exception of aid programs for development of countries/regions and to disaster zones. That was the ideal but a first step would be to restrict export/import of grain/food or basically anything that could be produced locally. It would dramatically bring unnecessary transport down, curb CO2 emission and maintain jobs for people in less fortunate regions of the world.

This is just a little digging into the surface of huge problem and not straight off recipe about what to do. There will still be exports/imports needed just to grow crops or to keep animals. Fertilizers and chemicals for pest control is not to be found in every region, vaccines, pharmaceuticals for keeping live-stock and many other things will have to be transported (in good will and with profits) across the globe.

It will take many years, treaties, will power and courage from citizens and politicians of the world, there will be protests and anger, layoffs but also hope, trust in humanity and new jobs created around the world. Humane treatment of animals may become global when monstrous killing plants are scaled down or shut closed. Will this ever happen? We the people of the world has to stand up and voice the isssue and if we do, there's hope and there will be change for the better and for the future of our off-spring, whatever color, ethnicity or race they sprung out of.

Ethnic or religiouis belonging - an obstacle to unity and peace on earth

Childrens in Ghaza cleaning out rubble after....
For me, time to speak out about as the chatter is getting so annoying that it bothers me. Etnicity or religious belonging never was an issue for me, I am not concerned about what sort of ethnic or religious background I came out of, Finnish father, Russian mother from the Finnish Ingermanland region. I don't know of what ethnicity they belonged to, to know I would need to exhume my dead father to try his DNA or to swab my mother at the nursing home then send samples to a lab with the specific question, what are they, what were they of? I myself would mix with any race, ethnic or religious individual I would fall in love with and I would expect my offspring to be fully accepted human beings by anyone on planet earth.

I don't exhibit symbols of my ethnic, racial or religious origin walking around on the streets, I did not send my kids to schools with a particular ethnic or religious teaching, I don't segregate myself from others by living in protected societies within my nation and I do not see a reason to protect ethnic or religious groups isolating themselves from the societies they live in. No God in the universe is worth such a sacrifice.

Hitler did have a vision about the arian race and went for lengths establishing the "Lebensborn" program but already apart and much earlier there were others protecting the lineage of a people in similar ways with their genetical institutes verifying the lineage of their priests, even their citizens, today by DNA testing approving or disapproving their priests and even citizens.

Now, if you live as a subculture within a society or a nation, cant you take responsibility for yourself, to protect yourself instead of asking us that does not favor your clinging to the past to do it for you? Do you understand that you are making yourself a target for hatred by segregating yourself from the society you live in, making your offspring an obvious and easy target by concentrating your children in schools of a particular ethnicity or religion, and yourself congregating in temples exclusively made for you and your beliefs?

You have your people inside all functions of society and yet you call out loud: we don't feel safe with you others, protect us from you, you have to do more for us. This kind of moaning and self-pity creates nothing else than fatigue and hatred in the ones that doesn't honor your attachments.

The solution to your and our problem on the the planet is: disintegrate your sub-culture, assimilate and submit to the society in which you are living, as your God more than once hinted you to do by saying: I am from now on the God of anyone on planet earth, not your exclusive one any more (AD 70).

Long since, your god went global, making him a available to any sincere living being on the planet and you became like the rest of us. Accept that and we will have peace on earth. Drop your sub-culture, ethnicity, symbols, festivities, mix and match with the rest of us that wasn't anointed by your God and we will have peace and survival on earth.

I do not know who to feel sorry for, Muslims or Jews, but these 2 religions accounts for the horrible situation we all have to live, wars, atrocities committed to other religious groups, terrorism, state funded terrorism, assassinations. To prevent our nations from falling into "Nazi" trap, with dictatorships, race breeding programs, racial purification and hence genocide we have to be alert and open not letting unrest corrupt our civil systems, but it is difficult as long people cling to ethnicity and religion segregating themselves from others within our democratic societies in the west.

And to you that believes in God, do not confess (express) fear and doubt, confess trust and faith as the former is a confession to the evil, dividing us and hence defeating a prosperous future for humanity.

You may call me anti-Semitic or anti Muslim if you want but I'll just brush it off as if I got dirt on my shirt. I will give no preference to people segregating themselves from humanity like Muslims or Jews, weather what they bring is for the good or for the bad. Being politically correct has never been my strong side. The more I understand from the bible and especially the New Testament the more I am understanding how the "word" has been used to "twist" the minds of my world.

Don't look for God outside of yourself as you will never find him, God is within the perfect creation, that is within yourself.

A day for remembrance - the Holocaust

It is difficult to write about such a loaded subject, there are so many strings attached to it from my own days or days leading way back to biblical times and in particular the old testament and the Torah scrolls. Anyway, it is a day to remember the horrors of the Holocaust and how humans can turn towards other humans, subjecting them to atrocities that for a normal person is unthinkable, beyond the imaginable horizons of a human mind and even more so for the young mind confronting the issue of limitless cruelty. It came to my knowledge when I was about 10 years old by my interest in books, I read everything my parents had in the house and even books they had hidden for the "young" eyes. I am 62 years old at this writing so this is nothing new to me but every time I cross myself with Nazi extermination factories I feel the same thing as when I was 10, profound sadness. 2 days ago, I visited some documentaries on Youtube, I spent more than half a day watching things I had already seen, film clips taken by the "embedded" journalists following the US and British army to document what was left to see, arriving at one death camp after the other, there were so many. The Germans did never get time enough to cover it up, there were dead bodies in all stages of decomposition all over, there were survivors still inside the facilities some not being able to get out of their bunk beds because of their dire physical condition. I was not aware that the 70th birthday of the liberation of Auschwitz was coming up, it just landed upon me and I am grateful that it happened, I need to be refreshed now and then on history and issues on the planet earth were I live.

I do not doubt this will happen again as there will always be people seeing a rationale in the extermination of another people, but are the means important making one extermination method more despicable and cruel than another one, like gassing people, poisoning, slaughter by firearms and knifes, napalm, airborne bombs, nuclear annihilation? Is the rationale of race, ethnicity or culture important factors to consider for determining the degree of cruelty when someone annihilated somebody else? I don't think so, it is the mere act of dehumanizing another one for race, religion or ethnic belonging for the benefit of oneself that should be the measure.

Seem there are fears that humanity would let the Holocaust fall into the darkness of gloom. There are voices constantly calling out, you have to do more to avoid forgetfulness, more this very day than any other day. There is a plenitude of individuals on earth, young ones and older ones that will never forget, not only what the Germans did to what they considered not wanted humans but of all atrocities inflicted on mankind through ages of human existence.

The majority of us will never forget, but with time the memory might fade when the ones growing up in the wake of WW2 are dying out. Keeping the world remembering is one thing but keeping the information recorded in those days immaculate is another issue more important than the individual human memory.

Light will always prevail over darkness even though there will be eclipses ahead for mankind. It seem like memory, remembrance is just not enough to keep us from falling down. Just imagine yourself doing a "face-off" in a group of whites, blacks, browns, yellow and reds taking note that everyone would look as ugly without the skin on top. Or a "face-off" in a ethnic group setting, a religious group setting? Just consider the dangers when our governments record such things about ourselves like ethnic belonging, religion, color and sexual preference.

I will never forget. Would you?

USA, ISIS and Iran

Union address January 2015
One of the recent days statements from Obama addressing the congress was: ”don’t touch Iran", concerning further embargos on a nation that GW Bush not so long ago included in the "axis of evil" list of rouge nations. Sometimes I wonder how much look-ahead a super-power nation has on it's HUD. We have got a Muslim Shia rule in Iraq and even if the first one that went sour with the US favorite Maliki another of the same flavor followed suite. Iraqi Democracy or Democrazy, I don't know but with the Mahdi army led by the Shia cleric Muqtada al-Sadr the door to Iran opened up a little bit more and then was left wide-open when the US partially left Iraq. Do I see a master's level of chess here or is it just another strategic intervene-fire-and-forget game leaving the world with another constellation, another patch-work of ambitious rogue nations and where Iran will acquire the Lion part of it all?

Iran, Israel’s "best friend" is taking control of Iraq, Syria and Lebanon, with few enemies around its borders, the only would-be enemy Turkey a Muslim Sunny nation. The worst nightmare of Israel is taking shape. Iraq is already an enclave of Iran with the exception of ISIS and Al Qaeda conquered territories. With Bashar al Assad's regime and the Iran supported Hezbollah militia in Syria, Iran in Iraq, ISIS, Al Qaeda and other Sunni Muslim militias are cornered in and soon rounded up to become exterminated. Iran is already doing air-strikes over Iraq and operating in northern Syria with the aid of USA. This is what Obama is conveying when he said: "don't touch Iran" as Iran is an ally in the air and on the ground countering ISIS. The consequences, well that is for the future?

Is this for the good of the world? Having Iran controlling Iraq, Syria and Lebanon? Shortly, when the time comes, Obama's two terms are over and the matter is on the desk of another US President. But a nation that recently was addressed and classified as a rogue state then in return greeted by Ali Khamenei with "most-hated Satan", could these two nations ever come on speaking terms, with the US "protégé" Israel in between?

I must say that I am impressed by how a nation oppressed by the west by embargos and threats has been able to survive and navigate steadfast through waters full of mines. Is this the staunch Persian nature and personality of Alexander the Great, rising anew, or is it the Anti-Christ rising as per the holy book? I see an aftermath of the Iraq and Afghanistan interventions that I a few years ago would not want to dream of, my worst nightmare for the world seem to come true. My preferred view of a peaceful world comes from a western perspective, a secular world where religious belief is up to each and every one of us and where the role of the church, a religious institution is the road-sign into the mysteries and a social connection between individuals, nothing more. No ones life should be controlled by religion or religious leaders.
